„Tygos“ is the 3rd studio album by Nortas

The album, which title came out as abbreviated lithuanian word "strings", is plenty of experimentation with organic sounds and gloomy ambient-styled synthesisers. In "Tygos", the themes of most of the instrumental works are related to waiting, the connection with the surrounding world and the purpose of the individual.

Pieces such as "Mirror", "Tir", or "Else If" use instruments which were not used in Nortas music previously, such as bass guitar, violin, viola, cello and double bass. Music in "Tygos" is very heavy piano-driven, which helps to reflect a fragile mood through most of the works.
